Poked my head far out, thought they were all to my right, but they

somehow ended up to my left and just quietly swam far away...to where they could better see me. The larger flock didn't know I was here, until after responding to the calls from the Fab 4...

Ended up doing so much sooner, because of this sweetheart's nice master...

Whom rescued the high energy dog from the pound on Christmas Eve. The dog was running over the top of the hill, potentially frightening the geese; he was chasing after his throw ball, as usual.

So, I put Brewster upon short lead and hiked over there, finally introducing the two dogs. In the process, I educated its master about my geese project, politely explaining his dog might very well be disturbing it, upon reaching the top of the big hill. It's the only manner in which he could think to wear the dog out. I saw him tossing the ball into the pond last week, as well. Now he knows better.

Brewster then managed to break free and topped the hill, causing me to immediately go after him. I could see only one goose, greatly concerning me.

After I managed Brewster and was just beginning our return back over the hilltop, here they came, causing us both to suddenly sit, very still within the wide open...

As they flew closer and directly overhead...

I thought they would continue west, but they made one big loop and lined up for approach from the teepee side...

landing clear over there beside the lonesome one...

I am going to better dress and go check them out, after some hot cocoa. I suddenly feel as if I am the geese police, for this place here lol. One thing is for sure, everyone will learn about geese, before I depart. I now have pallets and old tires to make floating platform nesting sites. That is the next project, after the teepee has been completed. I need some Styrofoam for them.

I'm under the impression that the Fab 4 failed to pay attention in Church this morning. They flew in at 12:44pm (roughly 25 minutes ago) and immediately began posturing for the ten already here.

It was crazy loud with extremely interesting neck action taking place. Not too long thereafter, all h3ll broke loose for an extended period of time, Goose Fight City. They are now all along their preferred bank with big hill, most floating while a few are on land (the sentry is on land).

Heard plenty of gunshots this morning, even since the Fab4 landed; thus, I have kept myself planted within my warm car for one hour, so as to not spook them into flight.

Edit: back to fighting again...

Gruesome... sad...

I'm, fortunately, not responsible (people having previously fed them at a now permanently closed restaurant very close to the road are...another motorist hit it). I did remove it from the road upon return trip...

...my 14 are still here....

I am coming out as gay. Yes, I am a faggot, always have been, too. I love to priss when I walk and bat my eye lashes. I enjoy long boat rides within the swamps and plucking ducks.

Anyway, I arrived at 7:30am, finding a few geese atop Beaver Hill, for the very first time. I think it was the Fab 4, plus the one lone sentry. Perhaps it is the first sign that they are soon to build nests there.

This sentry is interesting. It always keeps itself slightly distant from the others. I saw it chased upon land by one but nothing serious.

Regardless, they waited upon it to exit the water before departing, because it can fly. Two crows had come down for that feed and maybe that was why they took to flight. I was far away in the car.

They departed at 8:20am, and I never saw them nor others again, with exception to these seven flying rather high after 5:30PM. They just kept on going.

I remained until 6pm, working upon the teepee and hearing plenty of geese all the while after dusk, next pond over I do believe (I have yet to hike and find it but heard it isn't far at all).

Went with my dad this morning to the cow pond behind his house. Been seeing some woodies and mergs on the pond, killed 3 woodies. So got yo hunt with my dad one more time this year , got to watch my dog make a couple more retrieves, his last retrieve was a blind retrieve the bird had gotten behind some bushes and died. Coal went over that direction, found the bird and I guess got tired of swimming so just dropped the bird on the dam and walked back to us. Went over to the bird and I couldn’t believe it. It was banded. I’d never have thought I’d kill a banded duck on the pond behind my dads house but sure enough there it was just a shinning when I picked it up
