Thanks everyone who posted about the flashlights,
My wife cringes every time I walk by the flashlight section. We were somewhere recently where they had one heck of a selection of lights. You could hear her sigh! And I didn't buy any! I prolly have 8 headlights. Best one is one she bought me off the internet. It is rechargeable, has a heck of a beam, and lasts pretty long for a rechargeable. It's my go to if I have to track after dark for someone. I also have a Petzl, couple Coasts and some others I bought along the way.
Bought a little cheap 3 pk of Cyclops from Cabelas bargain cave years ago. Still going strong. I like the green and don’t like super bright.
I work a lot at night and check traps in the dark. Fish a lot at night too. After years of using cheap headlights I bought a Fenix and an Olight. You wont believe the difference. Rechargable and have lower settings that last for days. Its worth the $60-$70, trust me it is
I have a Fenix I use for work. Very good light, but the rechargeble battery didn't last a year.
My buddy has 2 of those headlamps off of Amazon rechargeable maybe around 25.00 was really impressed with it
Well, I just ordered a Fenix headlamp. They had a pretty good deal going with 20% off your first order. It's a rechargeable. Never had one. The reviews were good on it. I ordered the HM65R.
Whatever is on sale.
Im pretty bad at losing them and sunglasses so I went with an Amazon recommended 3pk for I'm thinking 20 bucks or so. I'm on my second 3pk but not from any of the lights fault lol. They're rechargeable, spot beam hi/lo, wide beam hi/lo and red light. My only complaint is that recently I have actually used one long enough to wear the adjustable mechanicisn out so I hot melted it in place. So far so good...
