anybody here from Harrison?
No. But there are some real studs of deer there. I keep hearing that a new state record will come out of Harrison, Pendleton or Robertson co
I hunted Robertson back in the early 80's . That place was full of deer .
I’ll try to make a long story short. When I was a youngun we use to have a small tin cabin in Harrison. I don’t remember any specifics of where it was. I know it was renacker rd. Intersection. Just a lil wooded area up in a small driveway. When we first built it we ran into a lot of lovers up there parked in the driveway lol. Last few years we had a gate. I spent a lot of weekends in my youth coon hunting there. Good memories. I tried to find it on google maps but nothing looks the same 30 yrs later.
Nawww. No big deer in Harrison County. Time would be better spent looking at other counties
My wife grew up in Harrison county and have in-laws still up there. I've heard people say theres some great hunting. A guy she went to a hool with killed a bruiser up there last year.
I was t looking for a place to deer hunt. I was just wandering if somebody that knows this place
prolly do t look the same now. Spent plenty of weekends there as a kid
I’ve found that road on Google maps, it’s shows it being in berry ky. If you had some free time one weekend fill the gas tank up and go for a ride, memories might come back to you
I had a cousin that use to live in berry
Found it. Rt in thst lil wood lot is where we had a lil cabin with a wood stove made out of 16” pipe.
If you bother to knock on a door and ask to look around let us know how it goes. Most of my camping, froggin, fishing and hunting as a kid was cleared filled, leveled, paved and is now a giant mall and parking lot.
A friend of mine and dads owned that lil wood lot and we built a small cabin on it. We had permission to coon and squirrel hunt some farms nearby. I spent a many weekends there and that was the beginning of my hunting career back in the mid 80s- early 90s. Great memories of that area.
Not from Harrison County but have hunted there last 30 years. In Oddville.
I live 1 county north in Pendleton. All you guys who come to Pendleton from Ohio should check out Harrison county, all our deer are moving south.
