Opportunity finally presented itself. Driving back the lane saw what appeared to be a fawn sunbathing in the tall grass off in the distance. Dug the rifle from behind the seat, creating quite the mess (dam thing has been riding untouched for quite sometime). Once I cleaned the dust off and got a view, discovered it was a yote staring back at me. I stretched the gun out the passenger window and set the blurry crosshairs at him. 75 yards, yote down. Definitely need to invest in some dust caps.
