You're right ... like so many others have stated on here, I was a member of the NRA for many years but they wore me out wanting more ... I made the mistake of sending them a little extra one year and that's when they REALLY started in on me so I gave up on them.
We all need to support some 2A group ... I'll correct that situation after some checking around to see who's actually out there lobbying for our rights.
Thank you for waking me up.
Sounds good to me! It’s easy to let renewals slip. I had let my GOA until a few months back. I knew with Biden and Harris in office it wouldn’t be long before they started reaching again. Vigilance, brothers and sisters!
Wayne Lapierre has stolen millions from NRA. He let the bump stock be banned. All he is interested in is money. When Neal Knox left, everything went downhill.
Agreed! Used to donate also...as wildcat said I definitely dont agree with the top using my money for their lavish lifestyle..and the nonstop phone calls wanting more....will check out GOA dont know much about them
Not as big as NRA but definitely fight for our rights. They do send out emails for donations but all of them do. Legal battles are expensive. But not nearly as much as the NRA does. I'm a GOA member and a former NRA member.
They HAVE to ask for donations, it's the law. NRA, GOA, or any other group that is tax exempt. This includes Unions, NAACP, and others. The law says they cannot USE MEMBERSHIP DUES for anything except what is used by the membership. Of course "some groups" get a pass on that while "other groups" are hammered hard if just one penny is off.
