We shot these birds on Wed and have been trying to figure out what type of hybrid they are. Two of us ended up killing 4 of them. Came in as a flock of 6 with a larger flock coming in behind them. Thought they were all canadas until time to shoot. Larger flock may have been canadas. Definitely uncommon around here. I just hope no one is missing their pets!

Is this for real haha? Looks like sort of a mix between canadas and blues. But I have never seen anything like that

They are for real. I thought the same thing, but couldn't be if they're in a flock flying with another larger group. We had seen some domestic birds around this pond before, but not in at least 2 years.

They have any similar markings as specks? That last picture the face looks like a little bit of a speck, but that is a first for me. Good job you killed a little girls pet haha

There is about 1/2 dozen of them in my area & see them daily feeding in green areas with Canadas. Canada with a tame.

We killed one similar to that in LaRue County. It had yellow legs and feet.
