Coming at this totally different.
First off, the “merchant of death” was always going to be traded. They made a bad trade but he was always getting out of jail.
Second, Griner is a world class unpatriotic moron but that’s all she is. Somehow we were always going to get her back. At least we didn’t trade pallet of cold hard cash.
I get much more upset with Obama’s trade of 4 Taliban for a traitorous deserter.
