    Shot him at 5:30 PM. The 6.5 did its job and he did too.Proud of him I didn't think he was ever gonna get interested in deer hunting.We lost our spot this past March and finally found 12 acres to hunt on. westons 1st buck.jpg

    Unique buck. Thought he was your typical basket 8 at first, but you don’t see that too often. Hole in the horn jr lol. Hope the little 12 acres continues to produce wether it be long term or to hold you over until you find another spot. Whats the area surrounding the 12 acres like? My 12 acres has a golf course a huge wood lot and half a dozen 10-50 acre properties and 2-3 cattle farms. Theres some hunting but not too bad, definitely several sanctuaries so i can typically pull some deer in throughout the season via mineral sites, food plots, and cornpiles.
