Got lucky and went inside Walmart at just the right time the other day. Been looking for 410 shells for a couple years now and been quiet awhile since I seen any 12 gauge shells as well. Luckily had my sister with me so was able to get 3 of each, they got a 3 box limit.

Not to throw this thread off track but yesterday I was in Walmart and happen to be there just at the right time also, the Walmart lady brought a shopping cart out from the back With 3 small boxes in it. It was Ammo, I ask can this be bought right now and she said yes and let me look through and I was kind of amazed. A couple boxes of 12 gauge,a couple boxes of 20 some 308 and one box of 3030 power points 150gr Then a couple random boxes of 22. I asked her if this is all and she replied Yep that’s all we have. I got the 3030 shells but it’s hard for me to understand why they can’t order more.

It’s not that they can’t order more, it’s definitely ordered. It’s being rationed out by Walmart distribution to make sure all stores that sell it get some.

They had all different brands and calibers of rifle when I was there. Had just missed the 30-30 myself. I asked the guy same question and he said they ordered a lot more but it was being rationed between different stores

Oh yeah had I realized the 12 gauge were low brass I would have gotten more of this and probably should have anyway. I been told those hibird 12 gauge were about the best you can buy though

Seems they are getting more and more in here at the Walmart but they don't last long. I check nearly every morning to see if they got anything I need and if they do we'll ya can see I pick up my 3 box limit

My LGS had 30-30 12ga Federal upland 5’s also 16ga #6’s. And honestly they were reasonably priced. $27 for 30-30 and $13 apiece on shells.

Still watching for 410 locally. Man, I hate Walmart.

I'm with ya I hate Walmart but ammo is about the only reason I gon in there. The 30-30 we're $22 a box so thought they weren't to awful bad. Buddy turned me on to another place to buy ammo this evening that I didn't even know existed so I'ma check it out tomorrow
