Tell him to just shoot them and bury them in a spot that doesn't affect his hunting.

YEP. Already told them in an earlier post. Don't cut the straps. CUT UP THE STAND. That way they cant fall.
Wiley veteran move there mister.
Buddy I wouldn't lie about it. I can show ya the piled up stand.
DH, I'm guessing no one doubts anything you've posted !!! I laugh every time I think about it !!! As you said, it's not funny..... a real pain and I'm sure frustrating for you, but for those of us who have had similar problems we are all grinning from ear to ear !!
THANKS. It is very frustrating. But not bad right now. I think they got the message.
I have been on the other end. Didn't have a place of my own to hunt. Knocking on doors getting permission. Working for farmers to show my appreciation of letting me hunt. But I never built or put a stand on a fence. Dad taught e better. Still today I wont. All I have is 44 acs. But I only hunt about the back 20. These guys lease about 3 farms want to hunt on my fence. I DONT GET IT.
I noticed on Saturday morning that we have the same issue. Our neighbors to the back own almost 400 acres. For whatever reason they have decided to put a stand literally 1 foot on their side of the line. It’s just stupid. They could have a much better set up 100 yards in on their place and have a perfect ambush sight because of deer travel. Nope. They have to set on the line. Needless to say, I walked all over our side before the sun came up and after looking for a darn stand that I couldn’t find. I politely said “good morning” to the guy as I passed. He didn’t respond, nor did he look at me after I sat down 50 yards from him. Just a d-bag move on his part. If he is going to hunt the fence line, so am I
ANOTHER VETERAN MOVE. I have done that to.
My buddy has had this issue for the last several years. He has about 4 acres of woods... A little peninsula that is 75 yards wide at the property line, extends towards the road about 200 yards and tapers to nothing... The bordering farm is 200+ acres, with a nice creek bottom, and lots of woods. Dude has a stand 20 yards from the fence. Last year, on opening day afternoon, my friend was walking in, and heard the dude on the next property driving his ATV in (he drives up to his ladder stand). Joe hears a shot, and runs up to crest of hill to watch for anything running. He hears the ATV ride up to the fence. The dude shot a 150 buck and it died at the fence. Pissed my buddy off, lol. Nothing to do but get mad. This dude shoots every deer he sees. Yesterday morning was the last straw. He shot a button buck and her sister. Gutted them right on the fence. My buddy took a 50 gallon barrel of rotten grease, a bunch of neon green worker shirts down there and put them right on the fence. Painted a happy face on the barrel. Also hung two huge wind chimes 20 feet up in a tree. He hopes the idiot will get the message.

If he was hunting with a firearm, day before being legal, then he was poaching.
