Its great to find the areas that you want to look at especially on larger tracts of public land, however nothing beats boot leather and burning gas. It does save on the later.
Bing maps is where it is at. Use it and google at the same time. Google lets you bring up GPS coordinates and Bing has "bird's eye pictures." Go to Bing and check out the bird's eye view of reelfoot. You can pick out those huge blinds and the decoy spreads those guys set out.
I have to agree that maps.live.com, or Bing is the better map. With the Birds eye feature I can honestly see my truck in my drive. The only problem is the birds eye view does not work in all locations.
