Goodbye deer

    Hells bells...simma down nah...

    First they have to find the deer. Then they have to be quiet and still enough to not spook the deer. Then they got to figure out when to bring the gun up. Then they got to hit they deer. Oh yeah then they have to know how to track when they make a bad shot.

    I think the lazy ones will just start stealing first.

    On a side note:

    I figure folks will be stuck inside for a while. I’m not advocating poaching but there are some interesting books on how the Englishmen trained their dogs to poach for them on game lands. A man can snag those books for virtually nothing on eBay. They might help with cabin fever.

    Same here. Country Mart and IGA grocery store is even stocked back up. Gas is $1.75 a gallon, and the crappie are biting. I'm good

    Gas is cheaper here but diesel is 30-40 cents higher than back home, that's never been the case.

    Oil markets are going haywire. Saudi Arabia and Russia in oil war right in the middle of the Corona outbreak. I think I’m gonna take up Meatsticks idea and go after them Crappie. Let all this craiziness pass.

    They probaly , couldnt get close enough to a deer to kill it, or hit it if they did, but they might could hire a hitman

    I agree somewhat but shelves are empty according to wife. That’s different. Told her today we got deer but prolly not enough meat. But we ain’t panicking. It’ll be alright.

    All I know is if shtf and starvation mode kicked in I'd put a bullet in one of those Angus across the road before I'd go looking for deer

    Maybe we should be thinking about some wild hogs. They say they multiply so fast they cant kill'em out.

    They may, but also keep in mind our food production, storage and shipping technology is ages ahead of where it was back then too.

    Idk about deer, but this lil fellers already getting it together. Pellet to the noggan, cleaned it and had it ready to fix. By himself i will add. Showed his 2 year old brother how to clean it. I aint worried bout much lol.
