Looking forward to pics and stories.
Seen 2 really early this morning, not heard the first shot.
Siting out this year's 2-day M/L. Have heard zero shots, saw five Deer out my window; can't wait for modern rifle season and hope it's a lot colder so the Deer will be moving more.
34 at my house this morning. between yesterday afternoon and this morning, many shots around me. dog laying on the floor next to me jumps every time she hears a shot.
My property is 80% wooded, and normally see between 8 - 15 out in my backfield each day. At this time of the day, with it being warmer than normal, the Deer have retreated to the woods bedding down. Only heard one shot, and that was a fair distance from my place. Those hunting this afternoon, should do so in the woods, and hunt the fields late afternoon. I remember last year's 2-day M/L season it was a lot colder and Deer were moving more. Bagged a Buck on the first day of the hunt.
Are you sure they didn't build a rifle range next to your house..
nah, the Issac Walton league range is 2 miles as the crow flies. have to go outside to hear those gun shots.
I heard a total of ONE shot Saturday morning around 9:30. Hunting pressure is very-very light around my property as the neighbor won't allow hunting on his property, as he has cattle. Saw a total of 18 Deer on my property Saturday, from my window overlooking my back field. Too warm for any good hunting, and hope this weather pattern changes to colder weather during the modern firearm season November 9th!
