Getting ready for Spring/Summer

    When is a good time to spread lime? Will probably plant soybeans as soon as ground temps get right. One of my fields needs 4tons lime per acre! I guess I am going to have to use bags for that plot because of the access.

    Thank you. I kind of figured because it takes a while to change the Ph but didn’t know if cold and rain would affect it. Thanks again, I will get out ASAP.

    I’ve always heard it takes 3 months to really impact the PH with bag lime. But as they say, “the time to lime is anytime.” Hope u got a spreader.. Bout kills my knees every time I’ve done it by hand.

    Last fall! I understand though that the type of lime makes a difference too.
