I saw a few flocks V'd up coming out of the N today. I'm ready to get the spread out and put deer hunting behind me!

I love geese, but I know next to nothing about them, with exception to one domesticated species. Will you, or someone else, please post a nice photograph of each kind, alive, along with a description, for proper identification? Perhaps the thread could then be pinned to the top of this section, for others without a clue, much like a Geese 101 thread? I have been thinking about requesting such, for both geese and ducks, a few weeks now.

Google Canada’s, Richardson’s, specks snows, blues & ross. That pretty much covers our area

Rods is correct. Most pics these guys post up the goose is dead in a field or cooked on a plate

I don't mind the cooked on a plate part, nor various recipies, even though I have never had it. I would cook it, if someone else shot and cleaned it; I just don't want to see it any other way...

By the way, how did you change that name under your username, please? I have been trying to figure out how to change mine, because it makes me feel like a dyke.

I don't think you can change it. It changes with the number of posts that you have. I don't remember how I got cyber hunter

Okay, thank you. I still think you guys should have a duck and geese identification thread, pinned to the top of this section. I had previously typed "duck identification" within the search function, with it retrieving very little.

I notice you guys frequently comment that there do not exist as many hunters. Although far from impossible, it does make it rather difficult to hunt, if you do not already know what is what. Just saying...
