Watched a show on how in Africa they have been pirated the shell gas lines and making there own by stealing the oil, area is a complete mess from oil pollution, was on Vice channel, they were doing this for a while

This isn’t gasoline prices but inflation related, great article on hidden inflation. This isn’t a new phenomenon, been happening for years but it’s really accelerated lately. Just a couple examples of many mentioned in the article.

In the U.S., a small box of Kleenex now has 60 tissues; a few months ago, it had 65. Chobani Flips yogurts have shrunk from 5.3 ounces to 4.5 ounces.....Cottonelle Ultra Clean Care toilet paper, which has shrunk from 340 sheets per roll to 312, to Folgers coffee, which downsized its 51-ounce container to 43.5 ounces....

Companies can also employ tricks to draw attention away from downsizing, like marking smaller packages with bright new labels that draw shoppers’ eyes.
That’s what Fritos did. Bags of Fritos Scoops marked “Party Size” used to be 18 ounces; some are still on sale at a grocery chain in Texas. But almost every other big chain is now advertising “Party Size” Fritos Scoops that are 15.5 ounces — and more expensive.

Yep. They pulled this crap back in the 70s. As a little kid, I remember Hershey bars as big a surf boards. Now not much bigger than a tooth pick.

They were selling chips in the same size bags, but less chips in them. You know those “fun size” candy bars? Those two bites and done bars? Thank the 70s. Probably will be pill sized next. Everything shrank but not the prices.

They weren’t fooling anyone.

Boogie oogie oogie where you just can’t boogie no more. Where’s the disco ball?

I’m shocked there was NO typical horn dog comment from Ed on one of theses videos. What’s the world coming to? 🤷🏼‍♂️😹

Somewhat true. However, notice the difference in prices from Obama to Trump to Biden. I would love to see a graph of gas prices while each party is in office.

You may not want to admit it but Biden has brought this on. Border crisis - Biden. Economy - Biden. Afganistan Clusterfuck withdrawal - Biden.

Here you go. Graph goes through May 2022

Traveled through The Communist state of Illinois today. I refused to buy Gas There.

The last numbers were both 9s.

Slid across into Kentucky and exit 3 in Paducah had gas 90 cents cheaper per gallon.
Illinois is a very beautiful state with a lot of nice folks. What a shame the urban areas have destroyed it.
I know lots of fine people from Illinois. To a person, Chicongo is one giant shitstain on the entire state they abhor.

As someone that once lived in Illinois. I approve this message.
I will carry gas cans to get through that state. They push the max ethanol limit at all pumps and it was frying spark plugs back in 2008 or so.
