Gas Mileage

Can anybody roughly estimate what kind of gas mileage a 93 Mercury 90 HP 2 stroke motor will get? Its on a 15.5 ft Pro Craft

A 90 on a 15' boat? I don't know about milage but it should run about a 100mph.

Should get great gas mileage because with that kind of power on a boat like that, the only thing that will be in the water when you open her up is the prop!!!!!

Nah, the boat only does 45-50 at best. Maybe the boat is 16.5 ft.

Depending on the weight of the boat that may not be that much power. I have a 150 hp on a 16.5' Skeeter and it's not over powered.

I've always put the "whale tails" on my motors and about doubled the mileage.
