It's a good one too. I grew a hybrid white corn from Zimmerman once that was excellent
The smaller second flush is underway on the oyster blocks.
The buckets of cornstalks and wood chips are nearly colonized also and should be fruiting within a week.
The Lions Mane blocks are starting to look angry, they could start fruiting at any time. I'm especially looking forward to watching them!
Your public want to know what did you do with the first batch of oysters that you harvested a bit ago? Sell, eat, or what
We ate em, Bee, and they were delicious! I'm expecting several pounds from the buckets that are due to fruit soon, probably more than we can easily eat fresh. So wife and I decided to can em if there's more than we can use. If it happens it will be a first for us canning mushrooms.
They are delicious indeed. Reckon they did not get the plastic bucket tase taint to them either? Ive never canned any shrooms, but they sure do have a lot of them on the store shelves so I will be interested to hear how you did it and how they turn out. Let us know.
There were no off flavors that I detected.
How will you preserve the mushrooms and can them. Man that would be great marinated in terriaki
Pint jars, 10 lbs pressure, 45 minutes.
We plant a lot of corn to sell, mainly honey select. With all this covid junk, Rechon they will be a problem selling it? We usually sell around 600 dz or more
Our extension office said farmers market will be drive through but we mostly just sit up beside the rd in dif counties. Think that will be a no-no this yr? Will it be allowed?
Hey guys, I'm working on a garden article right now. I need some good garden pics, from planting to mature corn, tomatoes, beans, etc. They need to be full sized (the uploads on here are to small) so they would need to be original size on phone or camera. If you happen to have some and wouldn't mind me using them for Timber2Table, shoot me a pm and I will send you a phone number you can text them to. Much appreciated
With all the pics Barney and others and other have posted of dirt to plant to grown to picking to selling or canning or cooking and eating in this subforum I would think you got all you want, but maybe you need "unpublished pics"?
“the uploads on here are to small”
Yep, the size requirements to upload here are to small for publishing. Need originals
You would think it would sell, this should be settled down by then, people still gotta eat
