Does anyone know anything about garage doors or put them in
What seems to be issue?
I'll say the sensors are misaligned or the tension spring broke. :highly_amused:
Whaddya want to know?
The springs can and will hurt you or kill you if you don't know what you're doing.
We had someone put in a garage door and on one side the track is higher then the other side. Shouldn't they be the same height on both side parrel to each other? They said the concrete in the garage is uneven but I don't think it is cause I measured from the house to the floor on both sides and came up with the same measurement
That doesn't mean that the concrete or house is level though. How out of level is it
Not much at all put a level on it and the center bubble was just the slightest bit right but the measurements were both 79 on each side
Does the door work?
It does work
Where are you located?

Post a pic of what you're talking about. How far out is it? Is it just an OCD thing?
You say you measured from the house to the floor? I don't understand. What are the measurements from each garage door side channel to the floor? And is the floor level side to side?
Does the door sit level when it is down?
I've never seen a door that the rails or channels the door runs in weren't the same height and parallel, but if the floor isn't level and is sloped to one side you may have to do that to compensate for the floor. Otherwise you would have a big gap at the bottom of the door on one side when it was down.
