    Savoring the smoke
fired up the smoker for some pork shots and ribs today for the game. The shots are kielbasa chunks wrapped in bacon topped with brown sugar and bbq rub.

Getting them ready along with some new arrows for the wife I am working on. Gonna have pearl pink wraps with pink tiger blazers

    Dang it, man.

I should have gotten motivated and did that myself today. We had Little Ceasar's and copius amounts of adult beverages at WKB's for the game.

Question from down here in Florida....
Pork Shots......Do they cook/smoke on the grill as long as the ribs? Or do they cook quicker???? Can I just cook them on a grill over an open wood fire....which i use at my
    camp...
    Thanks......gatorgrowl.......

about 3 hours at 250 is what I shoot for. Careful on the open fire, the bacon grease and sausage both drip grease like crazy. Cook however long it takes to get the bacon done, they aren't really picky about time and temp
