Who and where ? Hve not trapped since I was a kid, 45 years ago. Where can I sell ?
I used to sell green to a man in Falmouth named Steve Pugh, not sure what he’s up to these days
In Columbia there’s a guy. I don’t have his info on me right now tho
KY Furtakers has a sale in E Town in February
There is also a list of buyers on the kdfwr website. The buyer I talked to buys fleshed and formed hides and coyotes was bring 5-12 dollars, coons $2-5, muskrat $3, mink $10 male 5 for female and #1 bobcat was $50-100
Dang. This was about Four or five years ago I started running snare lines throughout our cattle farms to rid the yotes. Learned how to skin and was getting $20 $30 for green Coons and yokes I would roll up and put in the freezer. It was never for the money but heck Every time the freezer filled up I would take a trip and end up with a couple hundred bucks
Yea, when i was a kid in the ‘70’s coon hides fetched $35. That would be like $100 today. I know there is no money there, just trying to protect next springs turkey nests, my sweetcorn, and my ponds from muskrat damage. Nobody coon hunts anymore, and they are thick !
Is it legal to proccess hides myself and sell ? Whatabout if they are made into clothes, quivers, etc ?
