I have to disagree here... I've hunted early season for years now, and yes this breeze will bring a nice push. I usually have one of our best hunts of the year this time of year

You're right. I was seeing local buffleheads and spoonies.

The early season point has never been that you hunt a full bore massive migration but that you take advantage of a fairly predictable push of calendar ducks. This year the calendar push was accompanied by a nice weather push as well.

A perfect storm if you will. One that KY doesn't take advantage of.
