Looks like Friday morning will be the best morning or evening temp-wise for a while. I hope everyone gets to go. I can't, but will be looking for some reports on movement. I hunted this afternoon and saw 5 bucks and 4 does. 1 small 10 was nose to the ground on a trot and went out of sight that way. The big 8 I posted in another thread was with a doe, but not bothering her at all. It got dark before they got to me. 2 other 6-8s sparred a bit. Seems like they are holding tight to water. I have some woods that the ground is like marbles on a concrete floor with acorns, but they aren't in that woods much because it is well away from the creek. I may end up doing a water tank up there next spring.
