Free youth weekend

Good luck to all of the youngsters that are after them this morning. Taking my youngest (10 yr old) grandson for his 1st hunt of any type other than morel hunting. We’re in the blind waiting patiently for daylight.

I took Josie and Matthew out this morning. They’re both still looking for a buck. Was raining so we sat the blind on the food plot. Deer were in it all day long during the cold spell, but since it’s warmed up, haven’t been seeing as much on camera. Mainly seeing them in the afternoons. Didn’t see anything this morning..

My grandson saw 5 deer this morning but none presented him a good shot. My Buddy that owns the Hart county farm with me took his 12 year old grandson down there and he was able to get a doe, his 1st deer ever.

I went alone but deer were on their feet till 11:30, never saw a buck one. Saw a bunch of turkeys. Few big Toms. No shots presented on turkeys.

Hopefully one of the kids will be willing to wake up early.
