WTG! My bench was up to 350 and I cracked my sternum, its gone to nothing now. Amazing how long it takes to break a plateau and how easy it is to lose it all. Good luck with that shoulder!

Jesus Christ dude. Awesome. And AFTER shoulder surgery.

How much do you weigh? I just hit flat bench for the first time in 6 months last night due to shoulder problems. I had dropped 30# off my 8 rep sets since last spring. But, I have lost 15# BW since then.

BTW, your spotter looks kinda small for the weight. You must have been pretty confident. :)

I'm 226 this morning. I had one shoulder surgery 6-13-06 then another 2-28-08. Neither were the result from lifting, actually helped for a while. The spotter ain't a big guy, but I figured I'd do it.

Congrats Killer. I've not been in the gym for years. I was able to bench 365 when I was working out a lot. I only weighed 175 at the time. I REALLY need to get back to the gym.

I have a buddy that used to press over 500 lbs. Now he has had shoulder surgeries, back and neck surgeries, knee surgery and elbow problems . He walks like he is 80 years old at 45. I'm not going to tell you to quit going to the max, because you would probably tell me to shove my opinion, but I've been through 4 back surgeries and I know that when you do things in your youth that are "extreme" or cause wear and tear on your body, you pay for it later on in life. The key is moderation and common sense. That is a great max, but we are in this for the long haul, so be very careful and don't get caught up in the "macho" BS and hurt yourself. Lift for heath not heavy.;)
