I don’t know what the right answer is. They clearly effed the removal of the oven up. If the damage is not visible, they can repair the damage and properly secure the oven and no one would ever know the difference. The problem is, who is doing the repair and reinstallment? Hopefully not the tard that did the removal! If damage is visible upon reinstalling the oven…..the contractor has a big problem.

Yep,..agree.

One thing in your favor is KFB doesn’t play around or Mickey Mouse anything, at least in my dealings with them.

My house got hit with a hail storm around 12 years ago...looked like a machine gun hit 2 sides of it (vinyl siding). It was county/area wide. They only covered the 2 sides, not the entire replacement of my vinyl. I had been with them for years for home and auto and didn't leave them immediately but it left a sour taste and I ended up at State Farm several years later.

I was dropped by State Farm at age 16 over a couple of moving violations. Fast forward 37 years and a perfect driving record for the last 20 years later and they still refuse to cover me. On the other hand I was rear ended by a fella with some BS insurance and after a month I still hadn’t received a check. I called my local KFB agent about it and by the end of the day KFB cut me a check and went after the insurance company themselves. Not many insurance companies would do that and they won me for life.

Ya gotta go with what works for ya. I'm not saying anyone is better than the other...sounds like you made the right move for you. Only been with state farm for about 3 years now but the wife has been with them for years. I was just done when they shafted me on the vinyl.

Yeah, we don't let contractors touch any of our mounts.
I don’t like anybody that doesn’t have the same address as me in my house at all, I’ll take off work and lock up the rest of the house till they are done.

I usually have to touch up my ceiling when I move my mounts, I have them all as high as possible to clear the book cases, furniture etc.
