I was hunting a family farm near Fox Creek on Friday a.m. in Fleming. Wasn't in the woods long though.... I nailed a nice 4~5 yr old 10 pt in full rut that responded to the primos "Can" call. He came in fast with his head down trying to find his girls.
While I was field dressing him I did hear a few more shots far off. Ended up leaving by 9:00--great morning. I hope to get back there this week and take my son to get a doe.

    Good luck!

I hunt Felming Co and I can tell you there are many big ones up there. I hunt not too far from you I think and two of my hunting friends killed big ones this past week both after the does. Good Luck!

Fleming is a good drive for me...but well worth it. Between the farm land, open fields and oak/hickory woods--its great deer country. Haven't seen much other game-turkey or grouse--but its great for deer!

I'm fortunate enough to have access to 850 acres myself which has produced several very large bucks over the years. I guess some areas are just better than others. The farms around this one also hold great deer as well.
