well this was a first...Was driving to work this morning at 5am and had a buck run right out in front of me...I was only running about 30mph..rolled him into the ditch...to my suprise when he jumped back up his antlers were gone...I guess they were loose enough the impact knocked them both off...Long story short..first matching pair of the season was pretty easy..lol..Didnt hurt the truck either..

    Easy shed hunting lol.
Biggest shed i ever found was in the late youth season. Been several years back. It was fresh, couldnt have been but a day or 2 old.

Yeah, that's one way to do it!

My cousin shot a big, old fork horn years ago in the late ML week. Said he had 2 when pulled the trigger, but none when we found him. Didnt know whether to tag as antlered, or antlerless. We found the them on the way back out of the brush so that was his buck.

I shot one late season with one side as well. Would have been a decent 8 too! We were going to band saw the skull and have a Euro-Profile mount, but the wife failed to see the humor...
