Got out today with my boy and a few friends. Jumped three, holed two, but he got this one outta the gate. I don't know who was more excited. [IMG]

    SIX?!?! That's fantastic.
What kind of load was he shooting? Mine was 10 & he was shooting 3/4 oz steel 6s for doves when I gave him a 3" 1 1/4 oz mag to try on a fence post. He was NOT amused ...

The recoil stunned him, but my laughing about it reaallyy got his goat. Needless to say, thereafter he was quite careful in choosing his shells!

Way to go! Happy boy there. My 9 y.o. son got his first deer this season and he is impossible to live with now. 6 years old and shooting the 20 ga effectively is impressive. My boy is still getting used to his .243 and .410
