First hummingbird yesterday

Aerial combat almost resulted in hummer injury via tall cati. How they missed it was amazing. Relocating it now.

Confirmed Rufus remains. He doesn't hide nor fly away when I take photos, reposition, nor even when I get close to him; instead, he strikes a pose, preens, and constantly inspects the skies.

I took many photos of him and may post five pages of our session, just because.

Ever so slightly earlier this morning at 5:18am, Rufus flew in and perched.

May have been earlier because he was here as soon as I returned outside after putting on the decaf.

He has since visited each feeder, while waiting upon the others, which have likely already arrived but no chases as of yet.
