Looks like you may be the wiener, ugh I mean the winner the 16th is Suppose to be a low of 33 here.
Two winners maybe. Carl if there’s a tie. What’s the tie breaker. First snow prediction? Or do you have two of those waffle irons to give out?
No doubt lm the weener. LOL
The low for Friday is 37 so maybe the katydids didn’t lie. We’ll see.
Calling for 31 here saturday morning, could be the day!
So we should count it the 17th. I was using the low on Fri the 16th as the date. But Sat the 17th we will have it. So sorry slobear and EC. I may have spoke to soon.
Not so fast, I’m still in the game. No killing frost anywhere in my 10 day forecast down here in Calloway.
If the frost is early morning this Friday, the 16th, I'm still in the game.
3:00AM the 17th here, were i'm at sat morning. but i got an earlier prediction pages ago. all these leaves falling off the trees, i mighta missed the 1st. frost.
went back an checked, i said sept.30. i seen it snow a bit some. no accumulation. almost less than 0.
My Brother says the same for his Winter forecast, "Mild" due to: La Nina this year. The past five Summers here in Central Ky have been mostly identical. Just hope we don't have any late freezes this coming Spring 2021, as the late May freeze this year did considerable damage to mast production.
That shows the difference in Kentucky weather from one end to then other right there, our mast down here in Calloway is loaded for bear. If I remember right y’all got a couple of late freezes where we only got a light late one that messed up a few early leaves.
Yes, we had a couple of freezes one being in late May when the temp dropped to around 25*. This May freeze did most of the damage.
Looks like a nice opening muzzle season. Cold with high pressure in the morning.
Gonna be a good weekend 120+. Lot of deer will hit the ground sat
Time to cover the roses and mums.
