Here in Elliott yesterday (saturday the 17th) in the holler the clover field looked like it had snowed. On the ridge nothing but in the holler it was frosty!

Saturday morning we had a heavy frost here in Claiborne Co TN on the KY-TN-VA border. Low of 31. This morning (Sunday) there was another frost, but not as thick and as widespread

Fall Frosty has yet to visit me.

    "...
Each winter, on average, your risk of frost is from October 25 through April 7.

Almost certainly, however, you will receive frost from November 8 through March 24.

You are almost guaranteed that you will not get frost from April 21 through October 9.

Your frost-free growing season is around 201 days..."

a ex- friend of mine, had had a lime tree in his house. it got to producing 5 or more limes.
then one year, he was late picking the fruit, an it was yellow. you'd just have to know him, as much as i do, too appreciate this. :D:p:D:D
PS, the weather predicted to, between Fri-Sat morning to cause a major frost, never came. just imagine, that the weather forecasters, could get it wrong again. :p:p
