That old house sure looks to be setting in a nice little crossing area. Ever shoot any deer from it?

There been a few deer shot from the front porch you can see in the picture. There have been a lot of deer and turkeys die in that hollar behind the house though. I orginally set the carcass there so if the coyotes started hitting them during the daylight I could hunt off the front porch. It wasn't until I had the cams set up the thought I could get some cool pictures with the house in the background.

I sat up my first one recently and a hawk made up most of my pics, I tied the carcass to a tree and only got one pic of the yote who broke the rope and drug the carcass off. Obviously I have to do a better job of staking it down

I used 4ft metal rods that I drove into the ground. I had coyotes and fox both walk past and not touch it. Seemed kinda weird to me.
