Congrats on the buck brother! Wind is blowing hard here in Bullitt county. I was thinking about climbing one of my stands this evening but decided against it. Best of luck everyone!
I’m in a stand but not sure how long I’ll stay. It’s so windy and haven’t seen anything so far. Been here since a little after 12.
Definitely the windiest day of deer hunting I’ve ever had. I’m down in a holler and it’s still rocking and rolling
Chose to hunt on the ground this eve overlooking a thicket in a bowl. Surrounded by grown up pasture. Fingers crossed
Dont have high hopes with this wind but just got settled in the box blind for afternoon sit. Couldnt stay at house any longer. Good luck to all that are out
Back at it for day #3 in a row. Sitting in the box blind overlooking an uncut bean field. I dont have very good expectations for this afternoon with the wind like it is. Our farm is dead when its windy.
Wind is getting better here. I believe they will be up and going before dark. Whole crew is in a tree this afternoon. Got a good feeling.
Just got finished cleaning up a big dead ash that fell into my front yard last night. Wind has died down considerably and I showered and headed for a blind behind the house overlooking a creek bottom. They should move good later this afternoon. I had a spike run through my woods @ 1:30 as I was preparing to clean up the tree mess.
Watching a 8 and and 4 chasing a doe on the next place over not the real big one I've been seeing hope he shows up and they come my way.
Walked down into a bottom. Decided after 2-3 hours that wasn’t it and walked back out. Between that time a tree fell prob 40” in diameter across the logging road I walked in on
