Not good... feel for you, and you hate to loose a mast tree as well.
If looking to replace the house give me a shout. I can get you in a new one for $1,799 fully insulated!
That sucks, I lost 2 pop ups. Ain't possible to get around the farm yet to see what else. I leave my stands year round and just loosen straps. Box blind was still up so that's good!
this is a buddy's blind . Glad I took mine down! . afraid to go look at ladder stands LoL
I have two still up hope they made it through the snow.
I was thinking that no blind was needed with all that cover!!
I was working on my duck blind a few years back. Had it up; I was planning to finish it that next day... Neighbors tree fell and crushed my big boat blind, broke the tiller handle off my little boat mud motor and messed up part of the metal roof on the house. Her insurance refused to pay... :Act of God"...
You are in real estate so you should know this....in KY, it was on your homeowners insurance policy, not theirs.
I market and sell Real Estate .... One of the First real lessons we are taught is to Not practice law with out a license. Don't try to do the Surveyors job.... Never be the source of the info. Instead be the source of the source. Point them in the right direction... That's how you keep from being the defendant in a law suit...
I'm not licensed in Property and casualty....
Never had any sort of P/C questions in any real estate course or test.
So where Do You get the idea that I'm supposed to be up to date on frickin insurance claims???
Sensitive much ? No offense meant. Apology extended.
Sorry about everyone’s blinds. Glad no one was hurt though.
People think we are experts in everyone else's business.... That's a quick way to get left holding the bag in a lawsuit. Been a long busy day..... Apology gratefully accepted!
That's bitter sweet......Thank God you weren't in it, but there goes the investment.
Finally got to the happy hunting ground today to check our blinds. The two hubs had the tops caved but popped them out. One, Rhino, is in perfect shape. The other, a Barronett that’s been up since last spring had a few tears in the top right in the center. I had some black gorilla tape in my 4 wheeler and did a patch job that will hopefully get through turkey season. My cuz’s doghouse that sits in a valley that he just put in the fall looked like the day he set it up (forget to take a pic). The other blind shaped like a doghouse is some off brand my brother bought for like $40 and I swear it has sat in that same spot for at least 5 years. Funny the two with the strongest frames were the ones that caved. I guess we got lucky again. Still had 3 cameras out too. LOL!
Checked mine Thursday three blinds. Two were ripped and the other was good with no rips.
