I’ve never used cameras much cause I like the surprise and always thought they cause you to run in and out leaving scent unless you only checked them while hunting
But I used one this season in the spot I was hunting and on 10/3 got a pic of a brute 10 point. That helped me keep my spirits up to go a few days I wouldn’t of went but I didn’t have any pictures of this deer he just showed up for me lol
His ear was split too but looked to be from last year

I do believe I’m going to have it mounted
I’ve never had one mounted I’ve always done skull mounts
+ the little woman is digging all the wildlife stuff hanging in the living room
We had my son’s first deer mounted and we have all my racks and fans already on the walls
