I love the smell of the distilleries. Smells like home.Field dressing doesn’t bother me at all, but I don’t want to eat meat for a little while afterwards.
As for the smell, I honestly kind of like it. Every now and then, we’ll open one up, and it’ll smell like the distilleries in Bardstown.
The same here. It doesn't take long for me to completely field dress a Deer, and I also discard the heart & liver. Also I like to check what they are eating so I examine the stomach contents.Kill so many over the years I have it down to a science or biology.
I can gut one in about 3 to 4 min by myself , if someone tries to help it seems to take longer, just get out of my way..
After I'm done I poke around a bit to see what they have been eating.
I don't eat the heart or liver , I have seen far too many liver flukes.. ewww
