Anyone have any fawn pics on their trail cams yet? I pulled mine yesterday (May 25), with no fawns yet. Just curious what others are seeing.

Checked three cams yesterday. I have one fat girl about to burst, shouldn’t be long. I plan on posting some pictures of antler growth later today so I might throw her pics in

Saw my first of the year in the backyard during a big storm at about 4 today. Little bitty thing, but was moving along pretty good to keep up with momma

Gravel Switch area. Checked 5 cameras on Thursday. No fawns but does are extremely fat and heavy. I'm thinking the next couple of weeks there will be plenty. Same as last few years.

200 day gestation period fawns now come from does bred in October..

My favorite time to as only a few does are in heat and bucks tend to cruise a bit more..

Just shows that the rut is going on in October.

If you hunt mostly woods, October is a great time. Most are staging, rubbing, making scrapes, even if they aren’t chasing heavy. What’s weird is October has been awesome where I hunt most years but the last couple then end of November and early December has been hotter than anytime. MidNovember has been deadsville! Very unpredictable.

Bucks are like single young men. They breed anything that will stand still.

I just got in from chancing camera cards. No fawn pics but I did find a couple little beds.

Jumped this one on my pond dam. He was struggling pretty good. Only went 8 ft and stopped.
