BIG diff's in fresh or dried. I use Garlic, onion, telecherry pepper, ginger, allspice, cayenne, tyme, basil, and paprika. I buy most all in bulk/whole form and grind fresh. The flavors are alot better from just buying regular jar spices.

If you are looking for off the shelf dry blends, I love Cavender's Greek Seasoning for red meats and some fish. I like Everglades seasoning for grilled fish and shrimp. My go to cajun blend is Slap Yo Mama over all the other brands

Yea I was mainly looking what everyone buys off the shelf, wouldnt mind making my own, esp cajun styles.

I've been using McCormicks new molasses bacon. It's really good on burgers! It's fairly new & meijer is the only place I've found it.

    Salt is a given.

    After salt,
    1. bacon grease
    2. black pepper
    3. garlic powder
    4. oregano
    5. basil
    6. cayenne powder/flakes
    7. cumin
    8. ginger
    9. sage
    10. thyme
    11. cinnamon
Most any seasoning can be made from these herbs and spices.

I usually dig around in my spice rack when I cook and find what goes best, but my favorite "off the shelf" seasoning is Tony Chachere's More Spice seasoning. It's got a little pep to it but I usually ad a tbs of cayenne to it.

This is the only seasoning our family has used, now for the last 15 years. You have to order it online, it is called Texjoy steak seasoning, once you try it your search for a seasoning will be over. We wont eat a steak or any other meat without it, i just ordered 6 , 16oz bottles yesterday, they have many other options also, but this is their main seasoning and we use it on ribs, pork chops, chickens, and all my deer meat, it is amazing stuff, here is the link if anyone wants to check them out,

8 bucks for shipping on the Texjoy is a little steep for a small container, was going to order it to try, maybe another day. Any other suggestions?
