We are headed to the beach. Not a crowded tourist trap but maybe somewhere along the outer banks. Somewhere in the northeast isn’t out of the question either.
One of the things we are looking for is decent surf and pier fishing..
    Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I could maybe lend some advice on SW FL but I got nothing in those areas. Would like to hear as well. Good luck to you.

Check the tide fluctuations wherever you go. Some places it is a big swing.

NC has great surf fishing though tends to be better spring and fall. Cape Point in Buxton is an experience. If you can swing the cost hop on a tuna charter out of Oregon inlet fishing center or Pirates Cove.

I just got back from a small island in Maine and had a great trip. Caught stripers on every high tide but could not catch one in slot! Daughter hauled in about a 30-35 lber!

I’d try Maine to get out of the heat and a cool experience.
