Farm Pond Fishing

    My buddy Mike and I hit Banklick Creek below Doe Run this afternoon, didn't catch a thing. Went to Independence at a private pond and we couldn't keep the bass and gills off our lures. Here are a few pics.

    Look's like some good gill's and some nice bass. Congrat's on the fish!:D

    Them Gills average 10"

    Thats the reason we go there. The other reason, when they are biting, are the Grass Carp, this is the pond where I caught the 47Lbr. :D

    Very nice. Wish I had access to a private pond. Would love to get into some gills that size.

    what do you catch the grass carp on /ive got abig lake with lots of big ones in it ive never been able to cath them, had some roll up dead over the years over 50 easily any info would be app

    Bread, Bread, Bread Float it on top, no sinker, no bobber, the lighter the line you use, the farther you can cast it. Grass Carp spook easy so if you can cast to it rather than trying to sneak up on it, cast to it.
