Well, first of all I do not have Facebook. But I am able to review the Marketplace website somehow. Prices seem to be a lot cheaper on there than Craigslist. Is it a lot of scams, junk, etc., or decent people selling stuff?
Can you share any experiences?

Most Facebookers want to meet you down by the boat dock. Coincidence? I think not..
Defunct female gossip sight turned into a business add and collections agency with spyware built in to make it even worse. As if a legion of your own friends and enemies was not enough. It's DARPA Mil-Complex test software designed specifically to further MK-Ultra hypnotism / sexual control via vanity manipulation.
Now I know everyone finds something attractive about other people even if it's not a physical trait but FB openly shadow banned white males with political views that did not boost the single white or black females vanity popularity. ( Training for social credit score system of China. ) It's also why you seen so many Libs push in 2021-2022 by moving to Eastern States. It's called demographics stacking with vanity manipulation. Some of the worst people I have ever worked for or attempted to befriend jumped onto the FB Carousel along with Twitter in 2010-2011. Known Homosexual supervisor at a company I worked for called Spectrum Care Academy tried to force employees to have the Twitter App + FB so he could track and set people up who kept calling DCBS about abuse and neglect related to the clients. I filed 5 different reports outside of work with DCBS and other agencies including non-state affiliated PI's. The man had a network of other Homosexuals in the medical field and he also knew people at DCBS so the investigations got fudged. Some of the other employees that agreed with me in 2011 sent emails and evidence to VICE and other media groups. It helped shut down some of these so called Children's Mental Health Programs. Same exact group are also associated with sex cults.

I have a Facebook basically for the sole purpose of using marketplace. I have 2 friends and 0 posts on there haha so I appear to be a scammer if you look at my profile, even a fake name lol but I have sold stuff on there and bought stuff as well. It works better than Craigslist but get a lot of stupid people replying to items you’re trying to sell. Like I posted my transam on there and had 34 reply’s within 12 hours. The one that bought it was the one who messaged me within 5 minutes of me posting it.
I have ended up joining some groups on there that post hunting, fishing, cars and bikes. I will say I prefer to do business in fb groups if possible. Like when I sold my motorcycle I never posted it to marketplace, I posted it in a group called bluegrass sport bikes instead, that seems to narrow down the stupid responses wanting to trade you a 30 year old lawn mower type people. I also find if you post in a group full of people that are interested in what your selling you’ll get better money
Marketplace.........Why buy your stolen goods from a pawn shop or some random hood ape when you can simply trade for it on FB Marketplace with the locals in hopes of getting that Golden Turd for 27$

I doubt everything on marketplace is stolen. I’ve sold things that weren’t stolen. I’ve bought several things and doubt they were stolen. I’ve bought a heavy duty deer sled, a kayak trailer with title, a high end archery release, a new trolling motor, a two man bass boat with title, old refrigerator for my shop, a 18-1 archery target almost new, and probably several more things I can’t think of right now.

It’s probably the best platform for buying and selling I know of. In my opinion.

I did'nt even have a Facebook account till Covid hit as it was a means to view our church's services being streamed on their Facebook page. Which like most things involving social media its all how you want to utilize it and overall.... I dont view Facebook much different then this site. A person just needs to show some restraint or better said think about what they share with everyone. Certain post / threads can be enjoyable and informational but too many people post about every time they take a dump, on vacation, information about their kids .... their just asking for problems and aint smart enough to realize it. Such as posting pics while your on vacation you might as well put a sign in your yard "were not home if you want to break into my house". Same could be said about your families routines or schedules...... its no ones business nor does the majority care. But the world is full of criminals & perverts utilizing whatever is at their disposal.... and goes for everything we do involving the internet not just Facebook.

As far as Facebook Market place ..... I bought a used 5 ft disk last summer regarding an add and everything was just as advertised. The guy lived in Tennessee not too far from me and basically he went to farm machinery consignment sales / auctions and bought equipment to resale aside from his day job. Short of word of mouth he pretty much only uses Facebook Marketplace. At the time.....I'd been looking for a few months for a decent used one for food plots and stumbled across it. Ended up being an older King Cutter.....the disk / harrows not gouged or broken by rocks, had greasable bearings on the gangs and overall in really good shape.... he was asking $500 and I had look at a bunch of junk that were priced closer to a $1000 for a few of them. To me it was worth it and I would'nt hesitate to buy or contact him again if I were looking for something.

Again just use your head.... if it sounds too good it probably is.... but overall I think you can find some decent deals and most people selling are no different than the people selling on classifieds here.

When I got divorced once right before turkey season she had been living in my house before we married so she had to get out and her dad asked me to leave the house awhile as she didn’t want to see me while she gathered her stuff. He assured me he’d watch her. Well, he didn’t. She took a shotgun and all of my turkey gear and while I got the shotgun back the sheriff’s department basically told be sorry about your luck on the rest. She sold everything for a 1/10th of what I paid, had a couple so called buddies laughing about getting my brand new still in the box Rocky snake boots for $20 and a complete Mossy Oak camo for $10. Bunch of other stuff like decoys, pop up blind, NWTF vest, slate calls, etc. Worst part was she filled my bed with Fiberglass insulation lol. It was worth it in the end to get rid of her though.

No real input BUT if you see Aniwabu Njimba on Facebook let me know. I wired that dude 5K for a brand new Tahoe and he still hasn’t brought it to me. That was 2 years ago, he’s had plenty of time to get back into the states.
That happened to me once with a pizza back in 1994...still waiting on that thing to show up.

There's a reason divorce is so expensive, it's worth it! :) My ex did very similar but I got nothing back. But I am WAY happier!

My ex called electric company and had them turn it off. Weird thing is she told me about noon. Dunno if she felt guilty or was scared of repercussions.

Ives used marketplace several times to buy different things. Only had one experience that wasn't so great. Still bought the stuff the dude waj just real odd and gave me the creeps. Some good deals to be found. Scammers seem easier to spit in there if you do check the profiles. I like using it. First place I look when I'm looking for certain items
