I’ve been doing my own European mounts for some here’s now. This is my 2020 buck I got opening weekend. Velvet had already begin to shed and I could not save it. So I had to strip all the way off which left the antlers completely white. First time I’ve had the stain one from the ground up. Never knew how much trouble it would be.

It’s tough to get the stain right. Looks like you nailed it. Good work.

I did my first one this week, and it turned out great, except for the teeth. I used the 40% hydrogen peroxide gel, and the skull was perfectly white after 48 hrs, but the teeth are still stained. I keep reapplying it to the teeth, and they’re getting better, but there has to be a better way.

After making the above post, I went out and ended up scraping the remaining stains off the teeth, bleaching them again overnight. I’m happy with the results.

Yes I did that, plus I soaked it in dawn overnight before I boiled it. What your seeing in that pic is wet spots from where I just rinsed the teeth off.
