I procrastinated and went with the electronic stamp on the Missouri DNR App. I'll receive a physical stamp within 45 days. Do you suppose I'll get ticketed? I have proof of purchase in my name.

I do the same but never been checked. If i paid and have a receipt with a specific delivery date ill raise hell if ticketed. The feds should be able to get a document anywhere in the lower 48 within 3-5 days. 45 days ( and the fact that they likely wont meet that deadline) demonstrates how utterly inefficient the feds are.

When you physically receive your stamp, do you carry it to the field?

Well as of today, Missery or the Fed, has not sent my federal waterfowl stamp. I called KDFW and asked if I'd get ticketed. The person I spoke with said the regulations state we must physically have the signed Fed stamp in our possession. I'm not sure I agree. If I have proof of purchase in my name on the Missouri app why do we need the physical copy? I guess the "regulations" don't consider a change in technology.

Unfortunately, it still makes sense not to honor it…

I’m pretty confident this isn’t you…but, let’s say a stamp comes in and you give it to your son. He uses the physical stamp, you use electronic receipt…BOGO duck stamp.

I’d personally roll the dice in good faith knowing I purchased the stamp.

I’d print the electronic receipt and sign it too. I wouldn’t miss a hunt on account of it.

Ive see FnW write tickets for not having a hang tag on a rearview mirror. The 2 ton truck had a dump bed and no mirror. It wouldn’t hold up in court because the reg stated (readily visible) but some folks are just jackwagons.

if you get a decent human being that happens to be a game warden you won’t have a hassle.
