I've had it, and it is excellent. A bit greasy, but tastes great. I'm talking about the kind with four legs and a flat tail.

Lets keep it clean boys lol. I was actually shocked at all the people that liked it and the various methods of cooking it. One guy liked it smoked nother guy liked it grilled. One cat even fried his.

I eat every beaver I catch. I just pan fry it like I would deer no wild taste at all just dark red meat. If u decide to eat one be sure to remove the castors off of the hams.

Evidently I don't know how to cook beaver meat. I've tried to make it edible 3 times, 3 different ways and failed miserably. I'm no gormet cook, but normally I can at least eat what I cook. The dog got all that beaver, it was just AWFUL. I've eaten all kinds of wild meat including rattlesnake, alligator, ground hog, etc. The two I cannot STAND--beaver and muskrat--both terrible to me.
