That should happen tomorrow with the expected rain and strong winds...........
Nope, won't set and freeze, sure won't set and sweat, won't set and get drenched and won't bake. Of all the weekends of season it is my absolute least favorite, lol. However I do enjoy hunting with my ole smoke pole, my dad made the gun for me about 25 years ago. We may be polar opposites E, lol.
Might also have a little drizzle Saturday morning, but with lower temps Saturday & Sunday should be good, if there is no high winds.
I'm going regardless. I'd rather be hunting in the rain than working in the sunshine.
If it is as windy as they predict, I'll probably sit on the ground Saturday afternoon, overlooking a grown up creek bottom... I think they're more likely to move there, somewhat out of the wind.....
Ha ha I agree. But being the gentleman I am I am offering to hunt your spot for you just so you know what walked by. Just send gps coordinates please.
We may can work something out my man, lol. Your name made me think, scary I know, wife has some family buried in that Ezel Cemetery. It's a beautiful spot there.
If I climb a hill and look over towards the west I can see Presbyterian church there and the cemetery. I actually have an old wooden Stand on a edge of forest if you sit there you can see the church and cemetery. Small world!!!
got a lot of family resting there.
Small world in deed.
I was really looking forward to getting high in a tree this weekend, shooting house is great for windy or rainy days but i prefer being in a stand.
Looks like they took the rain out of the forecast for Saturday
And giving it all to us
Gonna be a lot cooler
Haven’t hunted yet this year, going to give it a run, hopefully it cools down soon
We'll have to meet up for a double decker at Freezer Fresh and talk the outdoors sometime.
The old B and E. Dang good food. I’ll even buy!
