I mean, of all the stimulus programs I don’t really see the issue with this one truthfully. It’s only 200 applicants and it’s people between 21-24 who were 18 under foster care. A lot of these kids probably spent a ton of time in the system and have never had anyone to teach them anything. If they were 18 in foster care they obviously were never adopted. What is wrong with giving someone who probably is doing their best to learn this life from a shitty situation with absolutely nothing to start with $1000 to help get them necessities? I have much less issue with that than the scum suckers that can work but don’t getting 1000 dollars in food stamps a month plus WIC and disability. So I don’t understand the reason to be upset over this one. Hell it was probably a privately funded Donation that provided the money

Disagree, not fair at all. Im opposed to any stimulus check, of any kind, always have been.
Its nothing more than the gov giving away taxpayers money, which only benefits those that dont pay taxes. Socialist programs are all bad, social security included.

Like I said, if it’s real doesn’t appear to be a government program. It was probably funded by some rich guy who came out of the foster system. Social security is MY $ that the govt took from me to "hold". I've paid WAY more into the govt than I could ever possibly get out. That's not what I'm talking about (although I'd have much preferred to have kept that $ all along so I could have invested it--I'd have been much better off).

I'm talking about the trillions of tax dollars given to dopers and hobos and immigrants, Ukrainians, tranny festivals, universities....the list goes on forever. If you want to support those freaks--send them a check. I don't want to, and shouldn't have to. Common sense.

100% everyone’s against assistance until you see the people that work their asses off every single day and still can’t make it. Or the elderly who lose limbs to diabetes because it’s either insulin or food.

Social programs aren’t “socialism”. Socialism is an economic system/theory where the gooberment (elite) owns and controls all methods of production and distribution of goods and services for the collective with no private ownership.

Social Security is a Depression era dinosaur that was meant to enslave the people toward gooberment handouts and needs to be done away with, as the gooberment shouldn’t be in the retirement planning business to begin with and doesn’t even have the constitutional authority to do so. Of course, dictator FDR got his way with a bunch of wimps and we’ve been on the path to collectivist hell ever since. If every dime paid in since its inception had been invested in a blue chip stock mutual fund it would be worth I dare say trillions of dollars today.
