Sat my lil wildlife pond, shot a limit in bout 3 hrs, missed 3. Gonna go Monday again. They trickled in. But it was good work for the dog to just sit there until sent each time. He did great!

I remember the good ol days of limiting squirrel in the morning and killing doves in the afternoon, was some good times back then, had plenty of fields to shoot in and woods to hunt, time has definitely changed

Holding out until Friday afternoon for my first hunt of the year!! But starting Friday it’s on after that! My crew is ready to go!! My sunflowers are a couple weeks away from being ready to hunt. We’ll hunt some chopped corn fields to start the season. Good luck to everyone!!!

Lloyd's. 🤣 A few years ago the mentor hunt produced 0 birds. Guess hunter recruitment is not a priority with KY DNR. At least the game wardens showed up this year to check the few hunters there. DNR is an embarrassment.

Hunted a private field yesterday afternoon. It was very slow and a group of around 10 hunters only took 30 birds total.


A lot of the birds I saw were flying very high as well.

Stopped down at griffin woods today right at 11:00 didn't hear a shot!
When the clock hits shooting time and no one shoots that not a good sign, last yr it was covered up with birds but it had alot of sunflowers unlike this yr.
All ky wants is your money and there not going to put in the effort to give us hunters crap!
