Edited to add: I've never seen my polling place (Faxon - Calloway County) as packed as this morning.

Small turnout at my place here in Fayette Co. Don't understand it. Only 2 voting booths. Took 15 minutes to vote with 6-7 people there. Pitiful !!! This is in a R location for the most part I think. You never know. I did my part.

I got to my polling place at 6:30, I was the only one to sign in other than the election workers. Wouldnt have even bothered stopping except for voting in the sheriffs race. I think there will be a lot of people across the state that did like Manzanita (myself too) and voted for Mitch just because he was the lesser POS. Pitiful that politics has got this way.

I voted absentee last Friday, in case I would be gone today.

I WAS asked for ID, and the person in front of me was turned away because they couldn't produce a stitch of evidence they were who they said they were. I don't think it was malicious, I believe the guy honestly forgot his wallet.

But according to some, getting ID'd to vote doesn't happen so maybe I just imagined all of it.

I walked right up to the table and the guy was already looking up my name. He didn't ask for ID since he knew me I guess. I had my wallet in my hand anyway. They were having an issue with the lady next to me. No idea what that was about?

I did my duty and feel like a need an alcohol bath. If Mitch wins his folks are going to get so frickin tired of hearing my voice. I have all my reps on my contact list and let them know very often how I feel about issues. Don't know if it helps but it makes me feel like I've done my part somewhat.
