Our backyard squirrels have been hammering them. It makes for some good training fodder for our little Cur dog.

Buddy and I used to ride around some farms shooting em from a distance. We pulled up to a field once an I said "there's one." He asked "where?", I said "right there." He's looking thru his scope and he can't see anything. He says "dude your drunk, there ain't no hog there!" I said "yes there is!" and I get out, lay the gun across the roof and shoot it. He says "what the hell are you shooting at?", looking at me as it fell. I took him down and pointed to the dead hog on the ground, he shook his head for days wondering how he couldn't see the hog. I eventually told him it had been on the first limb of the tree. :)
